Sweet Mother Of Abraham Lincoln

This is such a great movie, that I had to blog about it. We saw it just after it came out, on June 26 actually, and loved it. I have been thinking about it ever since. And so has Guy. This was the first movie he has seen in the theater, and he's hooked. He sat quietly through the whole movie. At times I thought may be a little intense for him, I leaned over and asked if he wanted to sit on my lap. But no, he was content to sit next to Uncle James in his own chair. The whole time. My son. Yeah. At the end of the movie, when I had a lump in my throat, I looked over to see Guy with a huge grin on his face, loving every second. He will sometimes tell me about the story, and ask if we can go see it "in the theater again." So we will be. This was the perfect movie as far as I'm concerned. It was funny, thoughtful, clever, nice, and all around great. I recommend it to everyone.
And yes, we will be buying it. The day it comes out. To be played so many times that I could start at the beginning and recite the entire movie. Line for line. Cause I can do that with Toy Story and Toy Story 2. I'm not kidding and I can prove it. That's how much my kids love these movies.
"To infinity...And beyond!"
